Last night I was “invited” to a charity event held by David Gest, Liverpool ECHO and Liverpool Unites at the posh Adelphi Hotel. It was a very highbrow evening with the entire remaining Motown stars proving that age does not matter when you know how to get down. “Stars” included Ben E. King, Percy Sledge and The Temptations with a quick appearance from Jane Russel. In the top picture: Percy Sledge.
